# Bio

Katie hails from Tucson, Arizona and is a Wildcat at heart! Her outgoing spirit has led her around the world, from San Diego, to Rome, to London, and New York. As a student, Katie studied Art History, obtaining her Master's Degree from Christie's Education in London. During her studies, Katie became interested in fine wine and spirits and worked in restaurants, shops and enrolled in the Wine Spirit Education Trust to pursue her passion for it. Her love of both art and wine convened when she began working in the Wine Department at Christie's Auction House in New York, and her career path began.

Katie first became interested in auctioneering working at Christie's and learning the fundamentals of an auction house. She began as a charity auctioneer in 2010 working with hundreds of organizations around the country big and small, including the Steve Irwin Wildlife Warriors Foundation, The Humane Society of the United States, the Jewish Child Care Association, and Grapes for Humanity.  

In addition to her love of wine and art, Katie is a certified Champagne Sabreur and will take any opportunity to pop a cork, loves karaoke, and enjoys traveling to wine regions and new destinations when she can find the time.
